PROMATAI Workshop Hosted by Cerca Trova (2026)
July 31, 2026Cerca Trova Hosts MCT Partners in Sofia for Lifelong Learning Workshop
Our inspiring international workshop in Sofia has come to an end!
We were delighted to welcome representatives of Fundacja “Fundusz Inicjatyw” to our “Lifelong Learning and Teaching Seniors Training Modules” workshop, hosted here in Sofia by us as project coordinator, Cerca Trova Ltd, as part of the Mitigating Cyber Threats (MCT) project.
During the workshop, we explored how to effectively design and deliver educational programmes for older adults. Together, we discussed the learning needs of senior learners, effective teaching strategies, motivation, and ways to create engaging learning experiences. We also focused on using technology to support learning, developing accessible educational materials, assessing learning progress, and fostering social interaction and community building among senior learners.
Why was this workshop so important? Because effective cybersecurity education begins with well prepared educators. Older adults need not only reliable knowledge but also learning methods tailored to their abilities, experiences, and expectations. The knowledge and skills gained during the workshop will directly support the development of educational materials and the delivery of cybersecurity training for seniors in both Bulgaria and Poland, as part of the MCT project.
We would like to thank our partners at Fundacja “Fundusz Inicjatyw” for travelling to Sofia and for such a valuable exchange of experience, inspiring discussions, and excellent cooperation. Together, we are creating educational solutions that empower seniors to use digital technologies safely and confidently.
