December 19, 2025e-DRIVE Project Receives Funding
We are delighted to announce that a new Erasmus+ project has received funding: e-DRIVE, Enhancing Development, Readiness, Innovation, and Vocational Education for Logistics Drivers. Cerca Trova Ltd participates as a partner, alongside a consortium coordinated by Sopeña (Spain).
Why this project
Europe’s logistics sector faces a critical shortage of qualified truck drivers. At the same time, vocational education and training does not always keep pace with what the industry actually needs. e-DRIVE addresses this gap by bringing VET closer to industry through digital, technical, and practical learning delivered with micro-credentials.
What we will do
Over the next two years, the consortium will develop a professional profile for logistics drivers, eight micro-courses with micro-credentials, a digital driving simulator, and support materials for both students and trainers. The micro-courses will be piloted with 120 VET students, and the project will build a transnational career office network connecting schools with logistics companies.
Who it is for
VET students and trainers in logistics and transport, logistics and transport companies, VET institutions across Europe, and policymakers working on skills recognition.
The consortium Sopeña, INCOMA, 4EPKAV, WAM, Cerca Trova Ltd, and APRC.
