February 11, 2024ICE-Link Project receives funding
We are thrilled to announce that the ICE-Link project has received funding from the European Union’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action under the HORIZON-MSCA-2022-SE-01 staff exchanges scheme, supporting interdisciplinary research and innovation in advanced porous materials and ice-templating techniques.
ICE-Link (Integration of Advanced Experiments, Computation and Data for Innovation in Freeze Casting and Advanced Porous Structures) brings together universities, research institutes, and industry partners from across Europe and beyond. The project investigates the cooling process and structure-property relationships of 3D porous materials through experimental work, advanced modelling, machine learning, and data systems. The outcomes will contribute to tunable porous systems for cutting-edge applications, from carbon-based materials and piezoceramics to membranes for hydrogen separation and more.
Cerca Trova Ltd, is proud to be a full consortium member, contributing to knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary training, and innovative research collaboration that will strengthen Europe’s research capacity in advanced materials science.
